Environmental Education

Volunteer and help inspire the next generation of River Guardians!

We are looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic, education volunteers to support the delivery of our River Education programme, Project Kingfisher.

Project Kingfisher is designed to raise awareness of the value of a healthy river by engaging children and young people with their local river and incorporating it into their lessons.

As part of Project Kingfisher, schools can sign up for an outdoor session which brings schools to the Wandle/Hogsmill/Beverley Brook to experience the river first hand where they complete activities and games associated with the river.

Our Education Officers require support to help set up, deliver and pack up the outdoor sessions and assist with the delivery of sensory presentations and workshops in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) schools where the students are unable to visit the river.
