Project Development Officer or Team Leader

Become a core part of the SERT team designing river and catchment restoration across the South East and make a real difference on the ground.

Working collaboratively alongside other SERT staff, project partners, landowners and stakeholders, you will develop best practice solutions to make a real difference to the river catchments in South London and the South East. The role will involve developing up the detailed design of river and catchment restoration projects, primarily using nature-based solutions, so that they are ready for delivery by Trust staff, partners or contractors. You will work with Trust staff and partners as they identify projects to be developed to address priority issues. You will also work closely with SERT project delivery staff and contractors to ensure smooth delivery on the ground.

The Trust is currently in need of management level staff who will contribute to overseeing the work of colleagues and building teams so that the Trust delivers most effectively. For the right candidate there is an opportunity for these managerial tasks to be taken on by the project development role, and so the position is being offered at either Manager or Officer level.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of the core team at the South East Rivers Trust.

Deadline to apply: 12pm, 13th December 2017

You will receive full training for the role in return for attending an agreed number of events each year. The role is flexible and these time commitments can be discussed to best fit your situation.

To apply, please download the Role Description below and send us an email with bit about yourself, why you want this role and why you think you would be good at it; including any relevant experience you may have (two sides of A4 max).
