They say good things come to those who wait… and after several months of planning and recruitment, we’re thrilled to announce that our new Development Officer, Dr Bella Davies (below, right, with Trustee Erica Evans) has now started work. 

We’ve already been able to introduce Bella to many of our volunteers and key project partners – and now, from 26 January, she will be leading the consultation process on our long-awaited Community Catchment Plan for the Wandle.  

In particular, she’ll be asking as many local people as possible for their views on the future sustainable health of their river, and helping us all to understand the scientific aspects of protecting and increasing the Wandle’s biodiversity. 

If you have any views and ideas you’d like to share with Bella, in this exciting new phase of the 5-year Living Wandle project, please don’t hesitate to email her, stop her on the river bank, or speak to her at one of our regular monthly cleanups. We look forward to hearing from you!
